1990 Score Jeff Wetherby Baseball Card #540 Like-New Condition. Ships USP First-Class.Jeff became a pinch-hitting specialist and reserve outfielder as a rookie with the Braves in '89. He was brought up from Triple-A Richmond when Gerald Perry dislocated his shoulder the first time in early June, and stayed on to add punch to the bench. In his first major league at bat, Jeff drove in a run with a pinch-hit single. He also got pinch-hits in his next two at bats to make it 3-for-3 in the clutch. Jeff batted .592 at the College of the Canyons in '84 and was named the California Community College State Player of the Year. After a year at USC, he was the Braves' 20th pick in the '85 draft. In '87, Jeff ranked sixth in the Southern League with a .303 BA, and smacked 31 doubles.
