1990 Score Delino DeShields Baseball Card #645 Like-New Condition. Ships USP First-Class. Delino could add exciting speed to the Expos in 1990. Only 21. he has a quick swing at the plate and sprinter's speed on the bases. Delino turned down a basketball scholarship to Villanova to sign with the Expos, who drafted him 12th in the entire nation in '87. At the time, Delino was rated the best athlete in the '87 draft. He was voted the best prospect in the Class A Midwest League in '88 as he ranked fourth in the league with 59 steals and second with 95 walks. Delino, who has a strong arm, acrobatic skills and good range, hit .270, walked 76 times and had an impressive .413 on-base average in 93 games at Double-A Jacksonville in '89.
