season in a row. Bruce's destruction of rival quarterbacks earn-

most sacks (12.0) by a defensive lineman and in '86, his 15.0
sacks set a Bills' team record. Over the past four seasons, only
one other predator - Andre Tippett - has had more sacks than
Bruce (45.5 to 44.5) in the AFC. Bruce was intimidating at
